Thank you.

I know that some of you will say, "MA, she doth protest too much."

However, I think that it is time to end this lovely experiment in writing.

I have really loved writing every word of this blog--the crappy posts, the good posts and the occasional great post.

Through this corner of blogoverse, I have met so many people, and many of you have turned out to be really good friends.

(I even found (and subsequently misplaced) a soul-mate of sorts.)

I have stopped doubting that I can write. It is true that I may never finish my dissertation. Perhaps I may never be able to write in an style suited for academia. Sure, I may never write a novel, but that doesn't keep me knowing that I can cull a few sentences together every once and a while. Take that Professor X and Y!

I should not say that I will never write this or any other blog again. I suppose that I am free to change my mind. And if I do start writing again (and if I do, it won't be with Fictional Rockstar), I promise that I will let you know.

So my friends, thanks for a lovely two years, nine months and twelve days together.

I thought I'd be pithy and end with something quirky:

this is the way that a blog ends
this is the way that a blog ends
this is the way that a blog ends
not with a bang
but a whisper.

I'll miss you all very, very much.
